Authentication

Authentication (human side), authentication (machine side), authorisation

The core objective of dopeIN® is to confirm the identity of a person or a system securely, efficiently and conveniently in order to grant access to protected resources. User-friendliness is of paramount importance here.

Authentication is an interactive process between user and system. It encompasses both the user's active provision of identity information and the system's verification of these credentials. These interlinked actions are part of the same procedure, for example, when logging into IT systems, and occur in a seamless interaction. The user initiates the process by providing their credentials, which the system then verifies. A successful authentication can only be achieved through this collaborative effort between human and machine. This human-machine interaction forms the foundation for the subsequent authorization, where access rights are granted.

Throughout this process, functional, emotional, and social needs must be met.

Functional

Identification, verification, access authorisation

Emotional

Trust, comfort

Social

Modernity, regulatory compliance
